TYPE 2: Concept statement

Concept Statement 1:

Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.

Descriptive words: fear, love, togetherness, forever, merge.

Concept Statement 2:

You will never know true happiness until you have truly loved, and you will never understand what pain really is until its been lost. "As we drifted apart, I was becoming more desperate to save what we once had shared; like a vicious circle, however, my desperation made us drift apart even further."

Descriptive words: romance, scared, separation, distance, pain, suffer

Concept Statement 3:

To understand love you must have lost. You must live life by every moment and capture the passion of that ones heart. When his eyes met mine, I felt something click, like a key turning in a lock. Believe me, I'm no romantic, and while I've heard all about love at first sight, I've never believed in it, and I still don't. But even so, there was something there, something unrecognizably real, and I couldn't look away."

Audience Persona:

Leighton is 22 years old and lives in South Carolina. She loves to sit outside and read books. Her one dream is to find a passionate love that makes her feel complete. She attends school at Clemson. Her mom told her stories when she was little about the first time she met her love and the distance that both had to deal with. She spends most of her time drawing nature scenes in her free time. Along with drawing, she also enjoys hanging out with her friends.

She dresses casually and likes being relaxed over dressing up. She can’t decide what she wants to major in but enjoys English and History. Leighton lacks in confidence but wants to do everything with every opportunity that passes her by. She loves to eat and shops at a local grocery store. To stay in shape she loves to run and it makes her feel free.
