Sean Adams:
A single example of design that inspired him most is the Declaration of Independence. He thought about it in a different sense that i found was very creative; he said that it was a "remarkable piece of design" because it is the design of our government that has evolved over 200 years
Adams said that the next design that you should solve is the next design project that you get. It's how well you can do it and develop the design. He said that "every grain of rice tips the scale" and that all the little pieces will come together.
Ed Fella:
He believes that everything is inspiration and loves everything that the young generation does. Another thing that he finds interesting is everything that is under the radar like ticket stubs, flyers and receipts. things that he sees and that he picks up everyday. "stuff that is out there"
Something that Fella thinks should be solved is Google. He finds the lists hard to follow and thinks that someone could design the website more space like so that we can breakdown the searches more.
Monica Nassif:
She was most inspired by a wooden spoon, which she has been inspired by since she was little. The spoon represents a kitchen and all the experiments that you create while creating things in the kitchen. Because while you are in the kitchen you have to "work with what available and make it better" and this relates to design because you have to mix things together to create something great.
Nassif wants to help us reconnect where are food comes from and to have an education on how to fix great meals with the foods that are grown. Solving this would be helpful to society because eating is a daily necessity. She also stated that learning to fix a meal for a family with a budget would be ideal.
Edwin Chan:
The single most inspiring this thing to him are the latest gadgets. what he finds to be inspiring is the sunrise everyday but to pick something tangible to him is the Mandella which means the oneness of the universe. This object to him is complex and has a simple with geometric shape with squares.
A problem that Chan wants solved is the problem of our survival on earth that we have grown accustom to. He stated that going green was a fad and that it has been enforced since the 70s and that we really need to rethink the little things. For example, the amount of waste, fuel, and energy that we take advantage of and this is a problem that we need to manage this problem in our culture because it is essential.
Joe Duffy:
There is not just one design that interests him because there are so many inspirational designs. The design of nature has inspired our design for the past 25 years.
nature is the inspiration and after saying that Duffy thinks that nature is something we need to attend to, as designers we can have the impact on nature. For example, we can reduce the amount of paper and packaging and be more "earth friendly"
