project brief: establishing order: graphic design often relies on typography to communicate order, information, and systems. The goal of this project is to make things easy to read, navigate and understand. As you learned in typography one, the foundation for creating clear informational structure is a strong typographic hierarchy. Type size, weight, and, color are the first steps. Graphic elements (lines, arrows, grids) and page structure are often used to aid in establishing a clear hierarchy.

project overview: Starting this project I was caught between prehistoric and flight, I finally decided on flight and really enjoyed working with this timeline. I definitely had trouble designing for this project but I am satisfied with my ending product. I took a lot of time to figure out how to read this and I still feel like it can be hard to read if there isn't an explanation with it, but it overall fit its purpose and works as a timeline. This project was important for us to create because of the clearness that needs to be established within the design for the viewers. I felt like this was a good experience and I enjoyed doing the timeline over the history of flight.
